2017 Program Timeline
July - October 2016
Program promotion and awareness campaign.
October 28, 2016
Participation registration deadline. A confirmation/welcome email will be sent to the primary contact within one business day. Companies will then receive an invoice via postal mail within approximately 30 days. Payment is due within 30 days of invoice receipt.

Registered companies choosing to withdraw from the process (by contacting a Best Companies Group representative) may do so by this date without incurring a withdrawal fee.
November 2, 2016

An online weblink for the Email Upload Portal is emailed to the primary contact to upload employee email addresses for survey distribution. The deadline to upload the file containing the email addresses is November 4. Companies that need access codes will also request them via this portal (online option only).

Deadline to submit all employee survey customization requests (optional).
Deadline to submit requests for alternate language surveys (if applicable).
Deadline to request surveying additional employees (beyond the random sample or outside of Kentucky).

November 4, 2016
Deadline to submit employee email addresses to BCG via the Email Upload Portal. This is also the deadline to request any access codes for employees without email addresses (online option only).

Deadline to submit the Employee Eligibility Checklist (paper option only).
November 4, 2016

An online weblink for the BCG Employer Questionnaire will be emailed to the primary contact at each of the registered companies.

November 11, 2016

Paper version of the employee survey and postage-paid return envelopes are mailed UPS to the primary contact at participating companies for distribution (paper option only).

November 18, 2016

Completed Employer Questionnaires (EQs) are due. The EQ is sent via email to the primary contact on November 4.

November 28, 2016

Online Employee Engagement & Satisfaction Survey invitations are sent via email (online option only).

December 7, 2016

Deadline for all paper employee surveys (paper option only).

December 16, 2016
Deadline for all online employee surveys (online option only).

January 2017

Notification letters are prepared and issued to the participants.

March 2017

The BCG Employee Feedback Reports are emailed to participating companies. Only the Demographic and Comments Reports are sent at this time.

April 26, 2017

The awards event for “Best Places to Work in Kentucky” will be held on April 26. A magazine recognizing the winners and their final rankings will be released for statewide distribution.

May 2017

The BCG Employee Benchmark Report and BCG Employer Benchmark Summary are emailed to participating companies after the awards event.
